THE VILLAGE
April 11, 2020.
Day 29 of the declared emergency. After being rigorously isolated for almost a month, we have to go to a nearby village to bring food supplies to our relatives. Their car is damaged and there is only one small shop in the village, which is rather sparse. We fill out the declarations and leave. Sammy is most excited about seeing his cousins.
Here’s another year is to its end!
2019 has passed under the sign of love, music, dancing, smiles and shared emotions! Our engagements have bring us to wonderful and romantic places all over the country, which once again prove how beautiful Bulgaria is! We met wonderful young people and some of our photos have been awarded in a number of international competitions!
This year I was fortunate enough to shoot a forest fairy tale at the picturesque Bedouin residence. Located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, the residence carries the strenght of the stone, the warmth and comfort of wood and the power of water. For this, the main hosts are the wonderful Mitko and Militsa, whose spirit is felt everywhere. The main attraction of the place is the roe deer Mimi, who is so accustomed to people that she immediately came to smell me and offered to pose for me.
Danielle and Krasimir were the first newlyweds who booked me for their wedding in 2018. We had not seen each other personally by the day of their wedding, because they are living out of Bulgaria, and we had just spoken one or two times on the phone. Although we did not have a personal touch, I immediately realized they were very emotional and extremely devoted to one another.
Madlena and Dimitri chose to celebrate their wedding day with their relatives and friends on a truly paradise place in the Troyan Balkan.
