The new Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.2 S is the latest gem in Nikon’s collection of portrait lenses for the Z mirrorless cameras. I recently had the opportunity to test this wonderful lens, which was kindly provided to me by Nikon Bulgaria. Unfortunately, I had limited time with the lens, since I wanted to do a little more tests in more dynamic lighting environment to fully experience its capabilities. In the following lines, I will briefly share my impressions.
Throughout my career as a photographer, I have trusted a brand that has always covered my technical and creative needs and has served me faithfully for many years. As you can already guess from the title of this article, it’s about Nikon.
As a long-time user of the brand, I owned various models such as F4 and F65, while still shooting on film, and at a later stage with the advent of digital photography I had models such as D80, D200, D300, D3s and D4s.
I have always loved my job, I do it with a responsibility, a desire and a huge flair for continuous improvement! I try to understand people and their attitudes, maybe that’s why I like documentary photography – the casual moments that never happen again, the small gestures …
Here’s another year is to its end!
2019 has passed under the sign of love, music, dancing, smiles and shared emotions! Our engagements have bring us to wonderful and romantic places all over the country, which once again prove how beautiful Bulgaria is! We met wonderful young people and some of our photos have been awarded in a number of international competitions!
This year I was fortunate enough to shoot a forest fairy tale at the picturesque Bedouin residence. Located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, the residence carries the strenght of the stone, the warmth and comfort of wood and the power of water. For this, the main hosts are the wonderful Mitko and Militsa, whose spirit is felt everywhere. The main attraction of the place is the roe deer Mimi, who is so accustomed to people that she immediately came to smell me and offered to pose for me.
